On Thursday, Sept. 11th, 2008 it began to rain.  The rain varied from a hard rain to downpour and back but it wouldn't stop until early evening on Sunday, Sept. 14th.    The result of receiving 10"-11.5" of rain was severe flooding in  the downtown area and our address at 1310 Bank St. became just another part of Portage Creek.

The photo albums below are a pictorial of this trying time in MRC's history.  Many employees and friends of MRC have heard second-hand accounts of what the conditions were like, but words can't quite portray the actual event.  For those who couldn't be there, these photos are for you.

The albums are divided up into 6 categories - Outdoors, Indoors, Aftermath, Floor, and Clean-up.  The damage to the floor was so unique and so startling that we felt it deserved its own album.

To view the albums, simply click on one of the labled pilings below which will load the appropriate album screen.  The small picture you see on the resultant screen is just a thumbnail - click on the thumbnail to see the photos at full-size with their accompanying text descriptions.
